Just wanted to drop in and say the files from vrmodels work fine for me and my friend i would double check your project could be something trivial like extra addons that can be messing with your project.

@anasui Honestly I have no idea what people on this site do wrong, most of the avis i see people having problems with are 100% fine lol (No offense just making a statement) Well good luck with that, no idea what could you be doing wrong definitelly something missing in the project to cause these issues.
