Or people just steal it@arse123 Not everyone flocks to the ripper store forums the moment a new avatar drops. Some people don't even know that it exists, others don't want to because they like to support the creators.
And the shared contents wouldn't even make it to this page and others alike if people weren't buying the assets from the vendor to begin with.

I literally said riperstore is not the problem, but avatar pedestals and cloning which is vrchat features. -

The ripperstores in general are not really impactful when it comes to sales, but it's really hard to check if this is actually true or not.I guess the ONLY thing that annoys me with sites like this is that NEWLY released stuff gets uploaded. I really wouldn't care if it was things that were released at least 1 month, since their relevance goes down and most people that were interested in it, already bought it. This way you guys could get this stuff for free while not really impacting sellers.
It's also an easy position for me to say this stuff since I make enough that I won't starve, but seeing you guys upload even Textures from tiny sellers ofc makes me a little upset. Imo the damage done to small sellers is much bigger than to big ones.
If instead of 1000 sales I make 900 due to the ripperstore, it's a lot of money lost but no big deal regardless. If a tiny seller makes 5 sales instead of 20, it can be

@arse123 The message I was trying to convey wasn't that the ripperstore was the issue at hand, it's that regardless of this site, there are people looking for assets such as the ones here, and for them to be shared in the first place means that someone had to first acquire it from either the vendor, or make it themselves.
On the line where you had asked if people just steal their assets, I had assumed that rather than people making use of an in-game feature and not actually doing anything wrong (The people in the wrong in this case would be those uploading the avatars as public despite the terms and conditions set by the individual listing it for sale. Not that I am in any position to scale what's morally incorrect as I have shared countless assets already), you were referring to people making use of sites such as the ripperstore and other similar alternatives to acquire and use the assets through unconventional methods.
I can understand what you mean by people using VRChats features to use avatars with assets they do not own. But referring to my comment earlier on in this message, we are to blame this misuse of a feature on those who fail to follow the terms and conditions stated by the contents original creators for not uploading an avatar using those assets as per the terms of the asset(s) used

Because if 900 is close to real number at 5k yen thats 4500000 or 29209.07 euro.
