i have Mochi available to trade with the Gonso still on her— but i am curious, does anyone know if there’s a way to trace a Gonso leaked file back to the purchaser if the file was already uploaded to an account with the License code?

@lovelybeebye
They can track the license key so if you uploaded the avatar with someone else’s license key they can track it -
@Abbyconner well there is a way to remove it, I'm not sure how but a few people on here have done it with avatars that have the license

This post is deleted!

@Abbyconner omg how did you do it?

I think the best solution to the problem is by working together as a community to collaborate to resolve the issue with all gonso related models. Even if it means reaching out to vrmodels or similar forums
It would be easier if there was a thorough guide on how to remove the system and fix the model. I do not mean by just simply not importing the system in unity or deleting it from the files, as for some models that does not work. Not only that, but I mean reverse engineer it to salvage it back to its original state before it was installed, so everything works correctly.
I think both some model creators and customers are tired of this badly coded system. The system is utterly broken anyway and does not work. Some have already had a bad experience with it. It's basically lost media if no one can fix it. In the end, any creator using this system has ironically wasted their money commissioning this dude and paying consumers got scammed not being able to use it since it's broken. The end user can't even get a refund, or they will be blacklisted even if hypothetically the consumer is legally in the right since the product does not function at all and is faulty
You can't customise the model (including the model creator's themselves) without it breaking everything, so it is definitely not flexible to changes. I don't think some people trust others to do it for them as there is always a risk you either get snitched on (e.g. model creators like to create throwaway accounts to pretend to be someone else to basically abuse and mass blacklist them) or it gets tampered with to ruin your pc
Like, there's always people in some of these gonzo related threads (including vrmodels) saying they'll fix it if someone posts it. However, they refuse to answer a simple question on how we can do it ourselves. I'm really sorry if I come off negative and tired, but there is no point saying you somehow know to get rid of it and not allow us to do it ourselves. It is normal to not feel comfortable on relying on someone else we do not know or if they can be trusted
If there is a script framework or software that can be made to remove it, people are willing to download coding software to get rid of it. I understand not everyone is a coding genius, so the script needs to be easy and straightforward for anyone to use
I'm going to set up a post in the help/troubleshooting section to see if anyone knows the answer. I'll edit this post later if it gets resolved. People can just go there instead of the solution being scattered inside posts from years ago. I've even checked vrmodels and there is still no clear answer on how to do it. It's kind of fair to say that it's a normal reaction to be even feel a little bit frustrated, as some people have been ripped off and cannot even use the model at all
