Just a quick bump to give everyone a heads-up about an announcement I found yesterday via the discord. The creator has applied a Gonso Licence to Mochi which requires a licence code to unlock. While this is currently on the pre-order version of Mochi. There are no guarantees it won't be on the full version, as more creators are using the Gonso system (e.g. Uniii by Naiii)
I copied and pasted part of the info from the discord which states
"To your license key is needed for uploading the avatar, after using your license key it will be locked to the account you have uploaded the avatar to"
"HOW TO: Access the Gonso Licenser window located at the top of the interface. Enter your valid license key into the designated field and proceed by selecting the 'Unlock' option". After that, your avatar will appear on the scene"
In other words, it is very difficult to share any avatars that creators apply the Gonso licensing system, since it locks to that one account only. Judging from what is implied how it functions, I don't think you can transfer the licence to a different account either. So, if you lose your vrc account. It is likely the avatar might not be recoverable since it is stuck with the account you uploaded it on.

@LizEllie
Do you have a link to this "Gonso's licensing system". I've been trying to search it up to read more about it but I can't find anything other than other avatars that use it. -
@melissadick I have been trying to look around since Uniii had it. I'm not sure if the creators are buying this system through private direct messages with the developer who made the Gonso's licensing system. Due to the nature of it, it would make sense if there is no digital storefront for the Gonso licensing system. Since there would probably be a troubleshooting guide if the creator made a mistake somewhere and needed to remove it from the model.
Trouble is, I don't know if I ask these creators where they're getting it from would result in me getting banned from the server for asking a simply innocent question

@LizEllie
I see, I am also hesitant to ask the question! Genuine curiosity might be mistaken with wanting to exploit the system.
