[VRC 3.0] [TF2] Functional Sentry and Teleporter Set
This is a TF2 Mini Sentry and TF2 Teleporter Seperated into two prefabs using the Contacts system and VRC Stations (chairs)This asset is made to work with Defaults ON, you can try to make it work with Defaults OFF if you want to.The Sentry requires 4 Memory Bytes (Not including FX Parameters) to function as it can:Build up and revert, turn off and on Auto-Target, turn off and on Auto-Shoot, and has Wrangler Mode.The Teleporter requires: 12 Memory Bytes to:Build up and revert entrance and exit seperately, and sync up the Station used for Transport, and Bread sync.Because the teleporter is using a VRC Station, you wont be able to use your own teleporter as it relies on the movement of A to B using the Station/Chair, and VRChat has disabled being able to click on your own avatars chair.I have tested it trying to go into a teleporter while on a chair/station of someone else, it hasn't worked and flung us away, unfortunately.tldr; The teleporter is Purely for outside support, and you cannot use it on your own due to restrictions vrchat did.(Vrchat completely broke Armature rotating with the head only on Y-Axis in their latest update 2023.3.2, Armature rotation is used for placing the sentry or teleporters always infront of you, Only if your using full body though.)(In the open beta the armature rotation is fixed, so it should be fixed soon.)The Asset has instructions inside to help guide you how to set it up onto your avatar, as it is centered around a "plug-and-play" style, it should be easy to set up.The Parent constraints can wiggle around based on your head movement, and thus can fling players if you are far away from your exit and rotate/move when they get off.You can fix this by just opening up the Big menu, using Fly mode on your camera, or staying as still as possible during transit.The Exit teleporter does not teleport back to the Entrance, like in the original game, the only way to change it is to buy an MvM upgrade, which does not exist here, and would be an entire other mouthful to code well, with the effects synced.This Asset includes:MiniSentry (Shocker!!!)Teleporter (Shocker2!!!)Sounds for Sentry and TeleporterLogics and mechanics for Sentry and TeleporterSentry Auto-Tracks and Auto-ShootsSentry Wrangle ModeSentry PVP Capability both with PVP worlds, and ContactsSentry PVE Capability on worlds that have for example, Particle Hittable zombies.
