Help making the Toastacuga Avatar more Synthetic
-
So I was watching a furry YouTuber named Jayce and saw this Toastacuga Avatar that is synthetic with emissions and such, and I really love how it looks but I am terribly new to Unity and don't know how to do this kind of look. Any help is appreciated! (Video link and screenshot below, including timestamp where the Toastacuga shows)

So to be able to get the metal plating effect you would be making the parts you want to be metal a metallic map, this can be done in substance painter, and to get the carbon fiber stuff thats also a substance painter premade material, to make it have more detail and looks like it has indents you wanna do a normal map for it as well. for the emissions they have to be separated from the main texture so unity can know what glows, and it can be any color as long as everything else that isnt supposed to be glowing a solid black. For that green effect that appeared at 2:54, that might be iridescence from poiyomi, im not entirely sure because id have to try it myself, my apologies if this isnt the most helpful thing, but if you have any questions i can try to answer them to my best ability

@WolfyDirefang to do a basis of it id need a pretty detailed reference of what exactly is wanted for it to be as accurate as i could make it. Im also still learning substance painter myself but i can help in whatever way i can

@TheLoneyBunny Yes, I know it is, but this isn't for the model, it's for a retexture of it because my computer can't run Substance Painter smoothly enough for me to figure out what I'm doing or supposed to even do, hence I was asking @Trainbox if they could help since they at least seem to know a bit more about what the textures are than I do.

i think the zip has also PSD files in it
-
@TheLoneyBunny It does, but that doesn't do the texture thing like SP
-
@WolfyDirefang in my Photoshop i can edit 3D models
-
@TheLoneyBunny I can't in mine, nor would I even know where to begin trying to replicate the textures in that video while having them colorable still X_X

@TheLoneyBunny @-@ I need to get a new External Drive before I can download all these programs x-x
Even still I wouldn't even know where to begin for the texturing Dx
