Gesture issues with unity
-
i'm trying to publish the Kikyo model I purchased from booth and when I import the model into unity and publish the prefab my hands get stuck in the idle gestures but my facial reactions are responding as though i'm doing gestures, I have done a bit of research and seen that removing the mask from the "all parts" FX layer would solve this however when I do this i'm told that I am unable to publish because my gesture layer requires a valid mask on the first animation layer, so it seems this fix does not work, without hand holding could somebody give me some resources or help point me in the right direction before I pull my hair out, please and thanks

@j0xged3 Jumping in again, it didn't seem to work I don't understand how every other booth model I use has no issue but Kikyo does so if I add a blank layer above the Allparts layer it seems to have the same effect of my hands being locked up.

I'm basing this fix on a twitter post here https://twitter.com/ochimaru_jp/status/1565972687628820480?s=20 since i'm not seeing traction much place else on this issue

Sounds like an issue with write defaults- make a backup of ALL your FX layers (gestures, additives, etc) and try the Avatars 3.0 Manager in the Creator Companion packages menu. On the WD tab, try checking it to all on. You may need to turn some off (additive animations for example) if you experience anything strange. Alternatively I'd suggest getting GoLoco and entirely replacing the gesture layer with a fresh layer, making sure it's the one with Write Defaults in the name, if all else fails. Good luck!
