Found a new leaking website with trading and LF, looks promising.

Interesting site, hope it works out! Suprised to see so many male stuff in the small selection of stuff that are there so far. Since it's in early development what are things that they are currently working on? Also could they please make a FAQ on the website instead of discord for those who don't have one?
-
@Damnation I'm not sure, but you could join the Discord and reciprocate your ideas to their feedback channel. I think they said at their launch event that the FAQ page is still a work in progress.
I know that they are working on a trading system where you can inspect the packages before they are sent to you.
and that they are implementing things like reverse image search, as well as implementing a bypass for PayHip's Anti-Leak Protection for VRChat that they made. And that they're planning on working on a Looking For section where you can initiate trades or send someone an avatar directly. -
@Damnation Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they are making a full chat and messaging platform for VRC leakers and traders, not sure why seems a little bit much but yeah, you might be able to use that as a replacement to Discord. (For like getting Unity help and whatnot)
-
Will consider uploading there too once I have more time ^^ Hope they won't put the stuff I upload under paywall like vrm tho
-
@MilkyDudds You're welcome.
-
I'll keep watch of this from a distance, for now.

I do not want to deal with another "akisoba" incident like what happened previously with vrmodels and sanctuary.moe
-
@Dexizuki may i ask what happened?
-
@elinkabelzinka Its been a while since it happened, but I will try my best to recall the events. Get your snacks and blankets, because it's story time.
So around a year or 2-3 ago, there was an incident where it was discovered/announced that the people running the old vrmodels site were part of some group, akisoba llc, who claimed to be working with a number of creators from gumroad to "protect their work", as they like to call it.
Their idea to "protect the creators' work" was to embed the unity packages that were hosted on their server with malware like discord token loggers, key loggers and modified SDK scripts containing malicious code to overwrite existing scripts in a unity project.
Around the time that happened, the old vrmodels was becoming a dumpster fire that people were abandoning and some refugees were going over to the newly created sanctuary.moe website. As it turned out, the person(s) running the sanctuary.moe site was also a part of the akisoba group, or another malicious hacker acting on their own.
There was an uproar about that, and eventually sanctuary moe was shut down.
Someone created a unity plugin called Safe Import designed to check unitypackages for any akisoba, vrmodels and sanctuary-related malicious scripts during the import process. The github page for the plugin no longer seems to be available,(nevermind, I found it) but this one containing text files that were to be used with it still exists. https://github.com/Purple420/Hashes-of-Safe-Scripts/tree/main/Unsafe FilesSome of the refugees from sanctuary decided to create a private discord server to share and trade assets on, but eventually the person who ran the sanctuary site found out about the server and invaded, and during that time they displayed their ability to hack the discord accounts of several of the members in real time. The admin of that discord server decided to nuke it shortly after.
And I was there to see it all. That being said, I'd be wary of vrc garden. I wouldn't even trust the new management of the vrmodels site.
Also, advertisements on an asset leaking site? What dumbass is going to pay to have an ad placed on there?
-
A bit fishy to me. Plus don't really like the idea of everything being centralized on the server hosting the site.
Advertising is also a red flag for me.
Now with the story shared on the post above, even less confidence. -
After reading the story above, I want to point out the fact “Daytona” was created 17 hours ago to specifically post about this website as well. It sucks but yeah, 0 trust in this now. Too suspicious and risky.
Edit: decided to use wayback machine and the website was created in early 2022. The text alone would make anyone not trust them.
