I'm giving away the VRCFury Ready prefab I made of the ConnectionNotifier asset as a gift to this community. Instead of uploading it to an external site, I've made the files available directly from my cloud. Wishing you all a wonderful day!
What does it do?
It just displays an icon on your avatar as soon as your client doesn't send updates anymore. That happens if you lag extremely, crash, your ip changes, disconnect, unplug your lan cable or whatever else causes your connection to be inactive
What does it help?
It helps others around you to not interact/talk with you when you aren't there right now. I disconnect daily at 4:30 due to my ip changing and it helps friends of mine to not talk to me being disconnected and forgetting afterwards what they said. Also if I crash in a big instance it helps people realizing that.
Is it hard to install?
No it isn't. Just drag the VRCFury prefab onto your avatar and adjust the position. The original prefab uses 2 boolean parameters but mine just one. That is because I removed the toggle for it. Why tf do you want to turn that feature off anyways. You won't ever see it yourself.
Does it make my avatar bigger?
Yes but just 1 boolean param, ~50kb uncompressed size, 25kb texture memory. That should be no problem on most avatars.
