Time to go guys, they know! Abandon ship!

My drops are only up for 5 days.

Don't ask me to reupload something if I look at your profile and you contributed nothing to the site. Nothing includes items that you got from someone else are are just using to leech more paid items.

To answer your first question, I do prefer booth assets and their creators, they're much easier to get along with than the gumroad creators in my opinion and the communities around them feel like actual communities with all the rally events you see frequently.
In comparison, some gumroad creators (or any western creator in general) 'build' their communities by requiring people to join and stay on their discord servers to receive, and get updates to, the assets they paid for. They never feel like communities but rather more like waiting lobbies, and I shouldn't have to give my private info to be put on a list, and hop through sketchy 3rd party sites or private discord servers to receive a product that I've paid for. And I've yet to hear of any rally events being organized for any gumroad/western-created model.

The answer to your second question is most likely money-related for many people. Not everyone has infinite money to throw around on every $20-$40+ asset that sprouts up every day or so. While most people continuously share assets either through public forums or private discord servers with no intention to ever buy, some people like myself do eventually buy the assets legit once we're able to afford it. Personally I make it a self rule to never pirate or share any assets of a creator I've met or befriended in VRC.

The answer to your last question, one option would be to consider lowering the prices of the assets being sold, or provide other methods to pay/support. Piracy will always be a thing no matter what you try to do to prevent it. What you can do is make your products easier to obtain legitimately for the people who do want to buy and support you.

@Dexizuki Not to mention the utter disgust I feel when I find assets stolen from games/mmd/sims community being SOLD as "from scratch" creations. AND to add to it all, you're paying the same amount for assets, which you have to set up and sometimes even rig yourself, when booth creators streamline as much as possible.

I know the original intent of OP's post but I don't feel like commenting on it; I just wanted to rant a little about western vs booth.
