A tool that adds clothes toggles
-
I haven’t been able to find any tools that can add clothes/ make them toggles, is there anything out there that’s capable of that? Any help at all is appreciated, thank you!!

As far as I noticed personally, it depends on which platform you get the model and asset from. If you want to go the easy route to avoid some headaches, I recommend buying assets that come pre-configured to fit a specific character or base. You won't have to weight paint it to fit in blender program. Alternatively, you could scale the item down to fit the character in unity. However, if the item is in a set, then you'll need to separate each part so you can move the items around individually. However, thankfully there are tools to help with that, you could use Cloth Separator by Cooki
If it's booth, as of recent most creators have suggested using Dressing Tools where it requires having Modular Avatar to work. As a sidenote, I've also seen some creators recommend adding in 'shader graph' from the package manager that can be found under the unity registry that mainly helps the asset function properly if it comes with particle effects. Some particles might not always be run through mochi shader for instance and have its own specific shader.
For more western market assets, I don't have as much experience. However, what i have noticed that some model creators use Av3Creator by Rafa or Av3Emulator by Lyuma. Another tool is WFT! | Workflow Tools - VRChat/VRM Avatar Creation Tools by Gabsith which i usually use to help visualise menus and makes editing parameters a bit easier. This tool also comes with add in toggles.
I apologise if that is alot of info to take in and I hope I might've helped answer the question. Honestly, it's very trial and error, so eventually you might find what works. Worse case, you can always ask a super smart furry or take a peek at community discords that have guides on it

Really depends on what you wanna do. These 2 are the ones I use.
VRCFury - https://vrcfury.com/
Pros:- Very easy to make radial menus to switch between many outfits or materials on them
- Very easy to make toggles for single objects
- You can toggle/swap other things besides the objects (materials, show/Hide when animator disabled, use exclusive tags, make hold buttons)
Cons:
- If you have many toggles that need to toggle other toggles it gets really confusing (for example the socks of 1 outfit to toggle OFF the socks of another outfit)
- The only way to visualize/preview the menus you create is to use GuestureManager and go in Play Mode
- You can't put icons on folders (at least from what I've seen)
Magical Dresser Inventory - https://booth.pm/en/items/3196304
Pros:- Very easy to visualize/preview your menus
- Very easy for toggles to toggle other toggles (just a checkmark on the menu)
- Very easy to put icons on everything
- Very easy setting animations for transitions between clothes
Cons:
- You can only toggle objects and set blendshapes
- Keeping track of many toggles that need to toggle each other gets complicated with more clothes
- If you don't save the settings to a file before closing it's window you loose all progress
- No radial menu possible
ClothUtility also has a thing to auto-generate toggles for its current outfits but in my experience, it's very buggy but for me it's the best tool to add clothes to avatars IF they don't use ModularAvatar.

@Miss-Tera Thank you for all that! I was trying to put Runa by Torinyan together if you know about that avatar. I’m completely new to trying to put clothes and accessories on avatars!
