@melissadick Sorry to bother you more, but do you have any decent tutorials on importing? Very new to this, if not that's alright I've got a friend who might be able to help

If you haven't already you should get the Creator Companion (CC). Follow the instructions in the link below.
https://vcc.docs.vrchat.comAll avatars use something called shaders, they basically make the colours and textures appear how they're supposed to appear. With the link I'll provide you below you'll be able to get ALL poi shaders. Poi toon is the free version while Poi pro is the paid version via patreon. I usually use the highest avaliable poi pro shader because it includes every shader before it. For example
poi_Pro_7.3.50_To_8.2.030 includes everything from 7.3.50 until 8.2.030. Some avatars use lil toon (Booth models) for example. Most avatars will have in their description what shaders they use if not my general rule of thumb is. If it's bought from gumroad or payhip it uses poi if it's from booth it uses lil toon.If your avatar appears light blue let it load, it's the avatar putting the shader on. If it's pink you're either using the wrong shader or you need to select it manually.
In the hierarchy on the left click on the little arrow to dropdown all of the things the avatar is made of.
Select an object like "dress" or "shirt".
Click inspector in the top right.
Scroll down until you see circles that appear pink.
Click the box with a dropdown menu.
Locate poiyomi pro and select that.
It should change from pink to blue to a regular looking piece of clothing.
You need to do this for all of the things that appear pink.https://forum.ripper.store/topic/12231/poiyomi-shaders-dump-28-gb?_=1704599007579
I believe that this avatar uses poi so now; how do you upload?
You create a new unity project in 2019 avatar unity.
Import/drag unity shader file into the assets tab in the middle bottom.
Import/drag unity file (avatar) into the assets tab in the middle bottom.
If it's not already open in the top left, look at your tool menu (at the top) and look for VRChat SDK. Log in with your VRC username and password. This is safe as it's released by VRC.
On the right in the Hierarchy select your avatar.
Go to the right within the VRC SDK.
Open the Builder.
Set a name, picture and then upload the avatar.
Depending on the avatar it might take a while. I have a good computer and once uploaded an avatar for almost 2 hours. This is not common. You might encounter some errors as you upload. Sometimes it can be fixed by:
Creating a new project and doing it all again.
Creating a project in Unity 2022.Going into Inspector
Select the avatar in the hierarchy
Locate "Pipeline manager"
Click Detatch.
With some avatars they have a blueprint ID from the original creator. It might cause it to stop uploading immediately.I do apologize that this might be VERY rambly. I hope it has some useful information on how things work and how to upload an avatar.
EDIT: If you need help uploading this avatar you can DM me so we're not clogging up this thread.
