Bases and heads for MALE avatars discussion.id say the ace ( misty ) body base is used the most for male avatars , but id say a lot of people have switched over to akii base , id say ace base is still the best to work with as ever since people stopped using panda base they've used ace base . dean or mike head is used a lot for head bases on avatars , i don't think ive really seen any other just depends what kind of avatar style you're looking for , if you're looking for a less masculine type of male id say onion or cici male base with the cici male head . theres not alot of things that are set up with face tracking from what ive seen especially with the listed bases but i hope this helps :3
EDIT ; imo , i used to use the ace base alot but aki base became alot more aesthetically pleasing to work with , the new updated dean head is also one i love working with , there arent may textures that get leaked for these bases but they are still the best imo
