does this still work? avatar and world tick boxes are missing and its just "assest url" - it also doesn't load the asset?

You can try using the option Grabpass in Poiyomi. It essentially adds that blur effect if it's that what you're looking for. In Liltoon there is also an option under Rendering Options called "Refraction Blur", which does the same.
