Hard block for older versions is interesting though

Also 3.9.0 sucks heavy with a lot of bugs...
3.10.0 is definitly better and fixed most bugs why i was staying on older verisons.

If you want to stay for a Long time on an Older SDK simply create many Dummy Avatars and us the ID's from them for the Next Uploads.
