Here is the unlisted youtube video to fix the DLCs including the hatching dlc, and add the customizations (hueshift, body mods, etc) that for some reason aren't default like they are in the sample avatar. They talk about this around the 9 minute mark, with a lot of rambling in between. It's essentially swapping out parameters and menu with ones hidden in some folders. I recommend watching at a faster speed because they tend to go on tangeants. There is a pinned comment with time stamps if you want to get to a specific section. Video is an hour and 13 minutes long, so definitely use the time stamps lol.

FIRST PERSON FIX

Here is the first person tutorial, because for some reason the creator put the viewpoint 20 feet above the avatar. Luckily the youtuber PatchBound did some experimenting with the viewpoint and found some settings which fix it. I have used this tutorial and was very happy with the fix. The only downside I've found, if it matters to some people, is it makes the Egg Nest for the hatching DLC invisible, as it's attached to the head. I will do some experimenting and edit this if I find a fix for it. It's because the nest is attached to the head. I wonder why it can't just be attached to the hand, so I'll look into this asap! The video is 3:02 long, so it's a great tutorial!
