So, I’ve been playing VRC for a long time and have come across a lot of people using clients. I tried Googling how they work, but I couldn’t really find any answers. I’m curious about how do they work, though—I’m not actually interested in using or trying one.

While it used to be very easy to get one of these clients, it is now essentially impossible for the average user to obtain one; they exist, certainly, but are available to such a tiny circle of people that getting hold of one is nearly out of the question. Furthermore, any update could render the mod useless and result in a permanent hardware ban. If someone offers you such a client, you should steer clear to avoid the risk—though, in all likelihood, if it’s well-made, it might just be worth the gamble.
