<![CDATA[How does one extract files with the new VRC Encryption update?]]>HI, I want to learn how to rip old avatars but the new encryption method doesn't seem to have ANY option of being bypassed mentioned here, is there a tutorial i can find here? as SARS and AssetRipper are not working.

Since the change on how avatars are downloaded there are a few things you can do!

  1. Use a free service that provides your the __Data (aka .vrca) File!
  2. You can get an external tool (can risk your account, but you're attempting to rip so i dont think it matters to much)

After you recieve the file there are numerous of rippers available that can take the contents out of the file

  • AssetRipper
  • SARS
  • UtinyRipper
    I would recommend these if you're looking for a program to rip with
