If you want a VRChat model to customize, then take the time to learn it.

I didn't want to do it either but I locked in and got it done, now I know how to do most things so if there's an outfit for one model that is not available for another, I can port it over easily, having that freedom is great.
Been having a blast porting Mihoyo / Hololive costumes onto my Booth models for example.
