This is the same as restarting without waiting for the Unity window.

Also check your Console to see what exactly is stopping it. The Console reveals more than you think it does.

This happens randomly without any reason and is a big nuisance during avatar / world development. Simply restart Unity.
VRChat "devs" need to fix this nonsense, there is no way around (except fixing the code by yourself, where you have to dig into their *.cs files).
